If the enterprise used to produce 100 tons of acid per day, it must put in so much acid every day. With our membrane, we can now only replenish the lost 10 tons of acid every day. It not only saves resources, but also greatly reduces the cost of pollution control." The large-scale application of charged membrane will effectively solve the problem of water pollution control and greatly reduce the cost of treatment. A "membrane" turns waste and sewage into resources and even a "benefit generator".

This high-performance series of charged membrane materials, by controlling the reaction conditions, can realize the precise control of the bromination position and the degree of bromination, and realize the independent control of the charged membrane ion exchange capacity and water content, which is more advantageous than other membrane methods. Rong Qiang, chief engineer of the company, made a vivid analogy: multiple membranes isolate the equipment into small rooms, some rooms will produce pure fresh water, and some rooms will flow out of high-concentration brine. The charged membrane separates the conductive ions from the non-conductive ions in the sewage and seawater, and finally achieves the purpose of recycling materials, treating sewage or seawater desalination through the principle of ion separation. Fu Rongqiang said that among the charged membrane series products currently developed and produced by the company, electrodialysis membrane, bipolar membrane, diffusion dialysis cathode membrane and diffusion dialysis anode membrane have all achieved major technological breakthroughs in industrialization. Prior to this, the domestic charged film has not yet achieved large-scale production, can only be imported from abroad at a high price. The electrodialysis membrane can be used in seawater and brackish water desalination, natural water purification, pharmaceutical industry wastewater treatment and other fields. The diffusion dialysis membrane is used for the separation and purification of alkali and metal salt mixture, and can be used for the recovery of waste alkali in non-ferrous metal smelting, organic chemical industry, papermaking, printing and dyeing industries. Bipolar membranes are used in the production of organic acids and organic alkalis, acid gas removal, resource utilization of saline wastewater, zero-discharge engineering, and clean production of food and chemicals.

Relying on these technologies, Shandong Tianwei Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. has become a key high-tech enterprise of the National Torch Plan.
