On September 12, 2017, the Ministry of industry and information technology of China issued the first batch of application demonstration guidance catalogue of key new materials (2017 Edition). A total of 129 new materials were shortlisted, including bipolar membrane and electrodialysis membrane developed by Shandong Tianwei membrane technology Co., Ltd. and China University of science and technology.
