News of the Academy of Marine Sciences: The establishment of the Electric Drive Membrane Professional Committee of the China Film Industry Association and the 4th China Electric Film Technology Seminar.

From November 14 to 16, 2015, the "Establishment of the Electric Drive Membrane Professional Committee of China Membrane Industry Association and the Fourth China Electromembrane Technology Seminar" jointly organized by Shandong Tianwei Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. and the University of Science and Technology of China was held in Hefei, Anhui. Senior experts from home and abroad, famous scholars and representatives of well-known enterprises and institutions attended the conference.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Xu Tongwen, deputy dean of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science of the University of Science and Technology of China and director of the Electro-Driven Membrane Special Committee, spoke first as a representative of this seminar. Professor Xu extended a warm welcome to all the delegates and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the organizers of this seminar for their work. Professor Xu said that the convening of this technical seminar plays a vital role in promoting the smooth development of the work of the electro-driven membrane committee, and is of great significance to promoting the healthy and stable development of my country's electro-driven membrane industry.
During the meeting, Academician Gao Congjian, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and China Film Industry Association, and Dr. Yang Shangbao, Director of the Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Environmental Resources Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, and other people respectively made special reports to the participants on the current application fields and progress of electric films in China, and in-depth discussion and exchange on the current technical barriers, the latest research progress and future development direction in the field of electric film in China.
Approved by the China Film Industry Association, the meeting established the "China Film Industry Association Electric Drive Membrane Professional Committee". The committee is mainly composed of experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes, membrane production enterprises, membrane application enterprises, design enterprises and other units.
This seminar fully demonstrated the latest technological progress and industry trends to the participants, which is of great significance to effectively promote the technological progress and long-term development of China's electrofilm industry.
