Weifang News Network, November 22 (correspondent Wang Zhishun) On November 20, the author learned from the Tianwei Membrane R & D Base in Weifang Binhai Science and Education Innovation Zone that the first bipolar membrane production line independently developed and designed by Shandong Tianwei Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. Trial production was officially put into production within the year. The membrane broke the foreign technology monopoly and filled the gap in the industrialization of charged membranes in my country.
It is reported that the bipolar membrane production line has invested 20 million yuan to build 3500 square meters of new environmental protection equipment testing and assembly center and 2500 square meters of membrane technology comprehensive research and development center, with an annual output of 100000 square meters of bipolar membrane after formal production. Bipolar membrane is a kind of ion exchange membrane with special functions, which can be used in clean production, caustic soda production, salt wastewater treatment, and has a wide range of applications in chemical production, biotechnology, food industry, environmental protection and other fields. Compared with traditional homogeneous cation membrane and homogeneous anion membrane, bipolar membrane has the characteristics of zero pollution, zero emission, low energy consumption, long life and stable performance.
