On October 25, 2012, Vice President Liu Zhaoming led a team to participate in the project kick-off meeting and work progress report meeting of the National 863 Plan "Major Project of Large-scale Key Technologies (Phase I) of High-performance Separation Membrane Materials in the Field of New Materials Technology" held in Hangzhou. The participants included leaders of the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Academician Gao Congyi of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Academician Hou Li'an, you Jinde, secretary general of China Film Industry Association and experts from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University and University of Science and Technology of China. At the meeting, Vice President Liu Zhaoming made a special report on the progress of the project "Large-scale Preparation and Application Technology of Membrane Materials for Acid and Alkali Recovery" undertaken by Shandong Tianwei Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. The expert group spoke highly of the project implementation plan, fully affirmed the preliminary work, and put forward many valuable and pertinent opinions to make the work direction of the next stage clearer. The expert group emphasized the importance of doing a good job in the implementation of the project budget, and required the project team to implement the project in strict accordance with the national (863 plan) special fund management measures and the requirements of the project task book, and complete the task indicators of the project with quality and quantity.
