"Pilot Study on Large-scale Production of Homogeneous Yang Membrane" is a scientific research project issued by Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Department to Shandong Marine Chemical Research Institute with Lu Ke Ji Zi (2002) No. 276. The project number is 022110109.
Membrane technology is generally regarded as a new type of separation technology with high efficiency and energy saving due to its unique advantages such as high efficiency, practicality, no pollution and simple process. It is an effective means to solve the major problems of energy, resources and environment faced by human beings. Homogeneous membrane is a kind of high-efficiency membrane, which has the advantages of small resistance, low energy consumption, strong selectivity and low production cost. It is widely used in waste acid and alkali recovery, separation of one or two valent ions, salt water purification, pollution control, biochemical engineering and other aspects, and has a huge potential market in China. But the industrial production of the product is still blank. It is for this reason that we declared and undertook the subject of "pilot study on large-scale production of uniform positive membrane" in 2002. Prior to this, we declared and completed four homogeneous membrane research projects. Thanks to the homogeneous membrane research experience, after more than a year of efforts, we have produced a high-performance homogeneous cation exchange membrane. After testing and application, the performance has reached the advanced level of foreign homogeneous positive membrane, and provides a reliable basis for industrial production. The successful development and gradual popularization and application of this technology will certainly push the development level of ion exchange membrane in China to a new height.
The project takes the polymer material of specific structure as the matrix, adopts the sulfonated crosslinking process to prepare the homogeneous cation exchange membrane, which has the characteristics of simple process, excellent performance, low cost and stable quality, and the manufacturing process has reached the international advanced level; the performance of the pilot product has reached the advanced level of similar products in the world.

Prospects and Measures of Popularization and Application
Homogeneous positive membrane can be widely used in chemical industry, environmental protection, daily chemical industry, metallurgical industry, nuclear industry and other fields, with excellent application prospects, belonging to China's sustainable development strategy should be vigorously promoted high-tech products. According to authoritative estimates, the annual consumption of homogeneous film is more than 300000 square meters. China spends a lot of foreign exchange to import homogeneous membranes every year. Therefore, the research, development and production of homogeneous membranes have good prospects for development.
