The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council held a grand national science and technology award conference in Beijing on the morning of January 8. The "Key Technologies and Applications of Homogeneous Ion Membrane Preparation" completed by the University of Science and Technology of China, Shandong Tianwei Membrane Technology Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology Research and Development Center Co., Ltd. won the second prize of National Technological Invention.
The project "Key Technology and Application of Homogeneous Ionic Membrane Preparation" invented the preparation technology of multi-silicon copolymer ionic membrane, brominated-aminated ionic membrane, solvent-free in-situ polymerization ionic membrane and plate (electro) dialysis membrane assembly, which realized the high performance and serialized development of ionic membrane and avoided the use of chloromethyl ether, chlorosulfonic acid and a large number of solvents in the traditional ionic membrane preparation, the preparation and application technology of homogeneous ion-exchange membrane with completely independent intellectual property rights has been formed, breaking the monopoly of technology and price in western countries. The project has opened up a new field of application of ion-exchange membrane technology in the separation and purification of acid/alkali/salt-containing industrial materials, involving chemical industry, hydrometallurgy, electronic etching, rare earth, food, biochemical, chemical fiber and other industries, and has achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.
